National 24-Hour Challenge
January 2, 2016
America’s premier 24hr bicycle ride.
The participants ride for medals in 5 year solo age classes, 18 to 75+ (M/F) (Upright and Recumbent combined) as well as 3 tandem classes (MM/MF/FF) and one hand cycle class. Enameled mileage pins, in 50 mile increments, reward riders who complete 200 or more miles. Riders who return and accumulate 1000 miles at the Challenge earn a 1000 Mile Jersey.
The course has changed over the years, but remains, as Bicycling Magazine once reported, “One of the ten toughest one-day bicycling events in the USA”.
