Reverse Gear is back-to-front active wear that combines comfort and practicality with visibility and great looks, on or off your bike.
Why are we different?
Reverse Gear™ is recumbent-specific cycle clothing - designed and tested - for 'bents by 'bents.
We have been riding recumbent for over a decade and have transferred our experiences to the Reverse Gear products, so that you can be more comfortable while riding. Our modifications to cycle clothing are based on our own experience and also on feedback from our customers. Don't take our word for it, see what others have said, below.

3 compelling reasons why you need Reverse Gear.
- You ride a 'bent for comfort. Your clothing too should be most comfortable in the recumbent sitting position. Reverse Gear tops and bottoms have been re-designed and re-engineered for this "laid back" position.
- You don't ride on a saddle, so you don't need chamois padding - so why pay for it? But you do need something to prevent chafing and to keep you cool. Find out more about our unique 'bent liner™.
- Your valuables (e.g. keys, money, cell phone, food) can fall out of open pockets, especially in the reclined position. Our survey indicates that more than 1 in 2 riders have lost something while riding. Reverse Gear pockets are zippered!

What others say about Reverse Gear
Gotta tell you, it's by far the BEST and I do mean BEST jersey that I have ever worn ... the pockets in the front are a most wanted addition for us 'bent riders. JW, PA
First thing ... they are probably the most comfortable bike clothes ... bar none! The shorts remind me of the early wool shorts I wore back in the early 70's. I love the way all pieces are sewn ... flat seams ... no abrasions. And the way the shorts are cut and sewn make me very happy. I'm no seamstress, but they are great! JA, OR
A quality product by folks who care about their customers. DN, ID
We are all impressed with the quality of the clothes. - JB & JMM, France
